Students at SSCA are assisted by the career services team to prepare for successful internships, career and job hunting skills, as well as the confidence and resilience to succeed. Creating a resume, mock interviews, vetting employers, and assisting you in finding the right fit are just a few of the services available. Our wide range of career services ensures that our students turn learning into doing.
Alumni Resources
Graduation is a major milestone but not the end of the Smarter Skills Career Academy journey. You are part of the family even after you graduate and even after you are uplifted into favorable employment. Alumni still retain access to the career services team for assistance with placement needs, resume guidance and work performance support.
Externships
There is more to education than what can be taught from a book. Smarter Skills Career Academy understands the importance of hands-on experience for our students’ success. Externships are available in certain of our programs, allowing students to apply what they’ve learned in the classroom to real-world situations. Externships also help you build a stronger resume and increase your chances of landing a job.
